Frutos Villar Wineries
The beginning of the professional involvement of the Frutos Villar family in the wine market is to be traced back to the dawning of this century, when on a purely local basis we bought up and sold wines from the region of Toro. Well before the officially demarcated wine regions of Spain, the so-called "Denominaciones de Origen" or "DOs", came into being, we set up our first winery at Toro in 1920. True to our ideal of renewal and progress, in 1960 we established our second winery in Cigales. Upon consolidation of the demarcated regions, in 1988 the Frutos Villar family purchased Bodegas Santa Eulalia, a winery belonging to the Ribera de Duero region. At Bodegas Frutos Villar, whilst continuing to make great wines at those of our own vineyards not belonging to any "Denominacion de Origen", and in an endeavour to encompass all the demarcated regions of Castilla, in 1990 we began to market wines from the Rueda "DO".

Since 1931 when the family Díaz started up in the wine business, Bodegas Lar de Barros - INVIOSA, has remained faithful to its millennarium culture by preserving traditional methods whilst continuously incorporating the most advanced processing and aging systems. Our wines are now sold to some of the most demanding markets in the world. We produce a wide range of wines under the D.O. Ribera del Guadiana and "Vino de la Tierra de Extremadura". In 1980 we started producing sparkling wines following the traditional method under the D.O. Cava. Our wineries are situated in the cities of Almendralejo and Aceuchal within the region of Extremadura in Spain. Our vineyards are spread all over the "Tierra de Barros - Land of Clay", planted with selected grape varietals such as Tempranillo, Macabeo, Pardina, Syrah, Cabernet and Chardonnay. ALAUDE, Bodegas
BODEGAS ALAUDE is a small winery located in the EXTREMADURA region of Southwest SPAIN. The company was set up in 2006 with the aim to elaborate a different concept of a modern fine red wine: small quantities and high quality in both, grapes and wine, at still very competitive prices and considering also the current market trends. The grapes are hand-picked and place in very small vintage boxes and once in the premises of the winery a careful selection is carried out, a first selection, bunch by bunch and a second one, fruit by fruit, making sure that only those grapes in a perfect ripening and phytosanitary conditions will be processed. Very rigorous controls are carried out along the whole process.

Abadía de Acón
Abadía de Acón is a familiar and small winery situated in Ribera del Duero. We care our 35 ha of vineyards with the highest precision following a natural way of elaboration, without using any herbicides, antibotriticus, nor any chemical product. We keep a low yield in the vineyards (3.500 to 4.000 Kgs/ha) to ensure a better quality of grapes. That limited production guarantees us to have a better ripening and a better concentration of all the qualities of the grape. The harvest is made manually in small cases of 18 Kgs, and goes into the winery to be selected. We do not have a hopper at the entrance of the winery, nor pumping motors or tubing... We use one of the softest way of winemaking: the gravity, which involves a gentle treatment to the grapes and wines.The design of the winery is one of the most modern of Ribera del Duero and has been created by one of the son of the owner, who is architect.

Bodegas Martúe, a different winery
We have just obtained the DO Pago (only 7 others wineries in Spain have it), which is the very highest level of recognition of quality, with extremely strict geographical criteria, centering on individual single-estates with an international reputation. BODEGAS MARTÚE is considered by La Revue du Vin de France one of the best wineries in Spain (February 2009) and appears in the Top 10 of best sales of LAVINIA Spain. In addition, we have just been published in a paper from Bordeaux as “one of the revelations of Vinexpo 2009 and probably the Spanish wine of the year” and have just obtained a Bronze Medal at the Challenge International du Vin. It includes a cellar in Toledo (Tierra de Castilla wines) and an ambitious project in Portugal with D.O. Douro, the oldest D.O. in the world, in a privileged environment and another one in Rueda with ungrafted vines. Bodegas Martúe was founded in the year 2002 with the aim of producing high quality wines exclusively made from the grapes harvested in our own vineyards. The first vineyards were planted already on the end of the 80´s, but it was only more than fifteen years later when they started giving the premium quality we wanted for our wines, so that 2001 saw our first vintage. In Toledo, we own 90 hectares; we harvest around 400.000 kilos, each vine stock producing on average 1,80 kilo. In our estate, we combine savoir-faire and passion to make wines which are opened to everyone, even the customer is an expert of wines or not. It’s the key of our success: our wines are « democratic » in the same time they are recommended by many reviewers and professionals of the world of fine wine. At the moment, we make 4 wines: they are complex and soft at the same time, with a great personality without being elitist, unanimous because they transport everyone in a delicious world after the tasting.

Bodegas Sonsierra S.Coop.
Bodegas Sonsierra is a Spanish winery located in the winegrowing region of La Rioja. The winery is situated in San Vicente de la Sonsierra, where the very best Rioja vineyards are located. It was founded in 1961 as the result of the union of 200 grape growers. The winery has its own vineyards totalling 600 hectares. Tempranillo is its dominant variety, as it is the vine which best adapts to the climate and soil conditions, giving intense-colour, structured, aromatic wines.

Bodegas Peique: Innovation and tradition
We took our first steps around about 1999, with an innovative viticulture project that responded to our long family tradition. Bodegas Peique came into being as the culmination of this initiative. The wine cellars are located in the region of the Bierzo, specifically in the warm village of Valtuille de Abajo; The pursuit of quality through technology and craftsmanship is the defining characteristic of our cellars which maintain a century old tradition in wine production. Ever since we started the project, our mission has been to develop wines of the highest quality, which encompass both the traditional and the innovative and which are able to demonstrate the commitment and passion our family devotes to its work day in and day out.
