Wine Producer - Europe - Italy
| Cantina Bolzano – Kellerei Bozen | St. Magdalener and Lagrein are grown around Bolzano and in the surrounding area. Today we can proudly assert that the grapes which go into the two prestigious wines most closely associated with Bolzano are grown in very finest sites and only the highest quality fruit is delivered to our winery. The hamlets of Santa Maddalena, Santa Giustina and Coste supply the grapes for St. Magdalena, while Lagrein grapes are grown mainly at Gries. Soils there are perfect for the production of world-class wines. Other determining factors are environmentally friendly cultivation methods, enormous application and hard work put in by the growers, and rigorous selection of only the best quality, healthiest grapes at harvest time. Our members know that quality starts in the vineyard.
In our cellars gleaming stainless steel tanks feature alongside traditional oak casks and French oak barriques to ensure each wine is matured under optimum conditions.
This is where the finishing touches are put to wines deriving from the most varied sites around Bolzano:
white wines characterised by a fresh and fruity bouquet such as Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio, full flavoured and aromatic white wines such as Sauvignon, Gewuerztraminer, Mueller Thurgau and Silvaner, red wines including the light-textured but delicious St. Magdalener, as well as richer and more full-bodied wines including Pinot Noir, Lagrein, Merlot and Cabernet.

| | Cà del Vènt - Exclusive wines in Franciacorta district | The story of this winery dates back officially from 1994, when the two owners, Paolo Clerici and Massimo Fasoli, urged by a deep and firm passion for wine and winemaking, decided to turn one of their oldest property into what today is Cà del Vènt (literally “the Windy House”). The reason was an ambitious plan they have been saving in their mind for a long time : creating the best wine this territory could ever offer and give people the chance to enjoy this exclusiveness.
Cà del Vènt is located on the outer southern area of the Franciacorta region, on top of the Campiani hills (350 mt.), between the two villages of Cellatica and Collebeato, historically an extraordinary place for wines.
Nature at Cà del Vènt has been undoubtedly generous: the slopes and the south-west exposure of the terrains, the climate and the wide temperature range between day and night, a steady breeze (which gives the name to the villa and the property), the clayey soil, they all play an important role in making those precious vineyards definitely unique.
In most cases we proceed to late harvesting and we pick up the grapes when they are definitely ripe : the wines are thus important, with an exceptional personality and intense aromas.
Quality comes even from the way we set the vines : we have one of the highest density ratio in the world. From 7000 plants per hectare we harvest only 5000 kilos of grapes. Rules and regulation in the Franciacorta region allowe us from 10000 to 15000 kilos, but we choose instead to grow few grapes where sugar and flavour are intense and unique.
When the grapes are ripe we pick them up manually in small boxes. They are then treated with dry ice for the time they waited to be pressed : all their features are thus preserved.

| | Tenuta San Leonardo | Marchese Carlo Guerrieri Gonzaga's family has owned Tenuta San Leonardo for more than two hundred years. Over the centuries, the Guerrieri Gonzagas have striven to transplant to this corner of Trentino, just north of Verona, the spirit of the great châteaux that brought fame and prestige to the wines of Bordeaux. At Tenuta San Leonardo, the classic Bordeaux varieties are planted and looked after with the scrupulous attention to detail, dedication to quality, and patient effort in vineyard and cellar that they enjoy in their homeland. As in Bordeaux, the goal is to obtain a small range of precisely typed wines that express the spirit of their territory, and the personality of their producer.
The estate covers a total of 300 hectares of which 22 are planted to vine.
San Leonardo wine has been for many years among the prizewinners in the various wine guides: it won ten times the award “Tre Bicchieri” of Gambero Rosso and the vintage 1997 was at twelfth position in the Wine Spectator Top Ten of “the Best Wines in the world”.
In 2006 we won the Oscar of “the Best Estate in Italy”.
“We are determined to create few but highly characteristic wines, direct expressions of our soil, communicating our personality and philosophy through careful attention detail, constant striving for quality, meticulous cultivation of the vines and monastic patience in the cellar”

| | Azienda Agricola Abrigo Giovanni | My farm is in Piedmont (Italy), in Diano d'Alba (8 km.from Alba)
In this wonderful hilly area, I cultivate 8 hectares of vineyard and throughwine-making I produce 4 C.D.O. wines: Dolcetto di diano d'Alba, Barberad'Alba, Nebbiolo d'Alba and Langhe Favorita.
The winery its open all days for to visit and tasting wines and Piemonte
hazelnuts.
Dolcetto di Diano d'Alba wine which has a good structure. It requires a
period of refining to ripen and to strengthen its fruity scent, the almond-scented aftertaste and the ruby red colour.
Barbera d'Alba refining is partly done in a big barrel and partly in small
French oak vats. I then bottle "MARMINELA" and put it in the cave with the bottles laid down for six months. Nebbiolo d'Alba passes its first year in the cave, in a wood barrel where it gets a soft scent and refines its fragrances, especially viola's scent and WHITE WINE Langhe
Favorita Straw-coloured, bright aspect. You can just feel little bubbles of
Natural gas of fermentation.

| | Castello del Terriccio |
Castello del Terriccio is a 4,200-acre estate in Maremma, Tuscany’s famed southern coastal region whose origin dates back to the Middle Ages. Originally serving as a working farm, the estate’s wine was traditionally sold unbottled. It was not until the late 1980s that owner Gian Annibale Rossi di Medelana, in an effort to restructure the estate’s activities, made viticulture the primary focus of the estate. Influenced by his love for Bordeaux-style wines and seeing the success of coastal wineries in nearby Bolgheri, Rossi di Medelana staked the estate’s future on its winemaking potential which its many accolades, beginning with a rare Tre Bicchieri award for its first release, the 1993 vintage of Lupicaia, prove to be extraordinary.

| | Gruppo Casaleone Vini | Gruppo Casaleone has its origins in the beautiful hilltown of Orvieto, in Umbria, the very roots of the company. Today, the Group is made up of 10 agricultural businesses with more than 1,200 hectares of vineyards, both owned and controlled. In its core, the same goal has remained as was laid out in the beginning: The most difficult elaboration in the agricultural chain – the cultivation of wine grapes. For generations, we’ve been aiming to improve our production in order to satisfy consumer demand. The Caiello family, owner of vineyards and estates, together with three other family estates, has maintained its original identity: A large family business with a passion for the land, for wine and a reasonable price-per-quality ratio.
The vineyards are located in the most important wine-making regions of Italy: Piedmont, Tuscany, Abruzzo, Lazio, Le Marche, Puglia, Sicily and naturally, in its region of origin, Umbria. The wine-making process effectively takes place in our own facilities and cellars connecting modern vinification processing to traditional winemaking, which bring us to produce excellent wines of great character.
A company with tradition that has placed all of its strength in wine-grape production, an improvement in the wine-making process and in its estates.

| | AZ. AGR. CASCINA ZOINA | A company born to a passion ripened during the holidays in wine areas of France. A passion that led Marco and Daniela to buy, in 1999, a small vineyard on the Mezzomerico’s hills. Since then just a hobby became gradually an activity that leads three hectares of vineyard entered the designation of origin controlled Colline Novaresi.
From the outset their philosophy is based on "low yields to work on the quality", then the choice to make vineyards with sixths of plant close and a high density, 5,000 7,000 plants to hectare, with yields which do not exceed the 7,0 tons per hectare. The vines Guyot pruned, are Nebbiolo, Vespolina, Barbera and Erbaluce, always present on Colline Novaresi, able to give, thanks to the climate in this area, wines with a complexity of aromas essential for a superior quality.
About 20.000 bottles year produced with enthusiasm, passion and a commitment to transfer, in each bottle, unique imprint of the grapes of the territory, in an unmistakable together of flavours and aromas, capable of transmitting with force that identity that is the expression of Colline Novaresi.
