Boberg

Wine growing region in South Africa. although this is not a region in the classic sense, as there are no Districts or Wards. This designation of origin is used exclusively for fortified wines produced primarily in the Coastal Region Districts of Franschhoek, Paarl and Tulbagh. These wines are usually made in teh style of a French Vin Doux Naturelle, and most frequently made from varieties such as Chenin Blanc, Muscat d’Alexandrie and Palomino. The other regions are Breede River Valley, Cape South Coast, Coastal Region, Klein Karoo and Olifants River.
