D.O. Uclés

DO region located in the western section of the La Mancha region in Spain, named after the town of the same name. It was classified in 2005. The vineyard area totals 1.500 hectares, located in the provinces of Cuenca and Toledo. The DO applies only to red wines, these may be produced from the following permitted varieties: Cencibel (Tempranillo), Garnacha Tinta, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah.
