St. Antony to disappear (almost)

Readers letter (so far 0)

The German wine estates Heyl zu Herrnsheim and St. Antony are to merge. In future, reference to the St. Antony estate, which has a long tradition, is to be restricted to a mention on the back label.

Wine entrepreneur Detlev Meyer is to market all of the wines of the two previously independent operations only under the "Heyl zu Herrnsheim" name, effective a few weeks from now. At least in some of the cases the back label will provide information on the fact that the grapes were sourced from the former St. Antony estate. (WF)
