2000 bottles of German wine are to be served at the DFB cup final match later this week.

When prominent guests such as the state president and numerous football fans come together at the Olympic stadium in Berlin next Saturday for the DFB cup final match, they will also be able to enjoy some German wines. The Deutsche Fußball-Bund, in co-operation with the German Wine Institute has selected three red and white wines each, of which around 2000 bottles will be served i nthe VIP and catering areas at the event. The wines include two Rieslings, a Pinot Blanc, two Pinot Noirs and a red blend, dating from the 2004 to 2007 vintages. (WF/press release)
