The Biondi-Santi wine estate has made it clear to Wein-Plus that it is in no ways involved in the current investigations into wine production.

Biondi-Santi, one of the best-known producers of Brunello, has made it clear that neither the Tenuta il Greppo - Biondi-Santi wine estate nor its owners are the subject of any investigations into wine production in the region. Following a visit by an inspector of the ICQ (Istituto Controllo Qualità), who carried out an inspection of the operation, no anomalies or irregularities whatsoever had been found, and as a result the Tenuta Il Greppo had been able to continue with its functions and its oeprative business just as before the inspection. It was emphasised that no wines nor vineyards had been confiscated. (WF)
