2007 disappointing?

US wine critic Rober Parker has described the majority of Bordeaux wines of the 2007 vintage as disappointing. At the same time he admits that generally speaking the standard of the vintage is better than he had initially expected.
In an interview with the French newspaper "Le Figaro", Parker describes the majority of the wines of the 2007 vintage as disappointing. Nevertheless, there are some impressive, fruity wines. However, the lesser growths, which make up the lion's share of the volume of production in the region, are herbaceous and lack depth. (WF)
