The wine industry in Alto Adige has redefined its key interests. In future, the three associations are to work together even more intensively.

The new president of the cooperative cellars association is Anton Zublasing, while Alois Lageder president of the wine estates, with Joseph Mayr president of the independent producers. „At just 0,7 per cent of total Italian wine production, Alto Adige is comparitively speaking a very small wine-producing region", says Alois Lageder. "It must therefore be our aim to demonstrate strength towards the outside world, which does not mean that the associations cannot internally also represent their individual respective interests.“ The intention is to intensify cooperation.
