Readers letter (so far 0)

Jonathan Maltus, who is based in Nigeria, has acquired the Vieux Château Mazerat estate in Saint Emilion.

It is reported that Maltus, who made his money in the oil business, acquired the small estate with its four hectares of vineyard area for 2.2 million Euros. Maltus already owns the Château Teyssier estate in Bordeaux, and has significantly expanded the vineyard area there, as well as wineries in Australia and California. (WF)
