Minister of agriculture Seehofer to open Riesling symposium

The International Riesling Symposium will be opened on 23rd April by none other than the German federal minister for agriculture and consumer matters, Horst Seehofer.

The International Riesling Symposium organised by the German federal ministry for agriculture, nutrition and consumer protection takes place in Stuttgart on 23rd April 2007. The symposium will provide information on viticultural, oenological and market-orientated aspects of the grape variety Riesling. There is a seminar programme featuring renowned speakers, this is rounded off with a tasting workshop. The seminar is aimed primarily at practitioners in the wine industry, the media and at all those who love Riesling.
