Anniversary game in Oberderdingen

The anniversary of the Kern wine estate is the reason for the football game between the Wine Eleven and the German football team of top chefs and restaurant owners. Proceeds will be donated to a charitable cause.

On 16.08.2010 at 18h00 the German Wine Eleven will meet the team of German top chefs and restaurateurs at the stadium in Oberderdingen in Württemberg, To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Kern wine estate as well as of the Oberderdingen sports club, the two team will meet in a charity match; the proceeds of the day will be donated to the Eduard-Spranger school for mentally handicapped children in Oberderdingen.

The football chefs are a team consisting of top chefs, hoteliers, restaurant managers and sommeliers from renowned houses in the top level of German gastronomy.

Tickets for the game can be purchased ahead of time for 5 Euros in the clubhouse of the SVO, at the Kern estate, at the Keilbach stationery shop and at the Infothek Oberderdingen. Gates will open at 17h00, the kick-off is at 18hoo. After the game, the third half will take place in the courtyard of the Kern wine estate. Here, visitors and fans can celebrate together with the two teams. Music, food and wine will be provided. (WF/press release)
