Wine estate shares with liquid dividends

Readers letter (so far 0)

A new wine estate on the island of Mallorca is offering wine share certificates for sale. The Resident Wein S.A. in the D.O. Mallorca-Binissalem wine growing region is making it possible for both private persons and companies to become co-owners, with immediate effect, by acquiring one of the 50.000 vine shares, this being the number of vines to be planted as a first stage on the 10 hectares of vineyard land on the estate. "Buy once, and enjoy your own wine for the rest of your life" is the company's concept: in the long term, the company plans to guarantee an annual dividend of at least one bottle of wine per share/vine. Share parcels can be reserved until the 30. August, with a cap at 1000 vine shares per person. One share can be purchased at a price of 50,00 €. The time until the first vintage is to be kept interesting by means of various festivities and activities - the company bodega will be "the focal point for regular meetings of the shareholders, lovers of the island and wine enthusiasts".
