WEIN Gourmet to disappear

The German magazine WEIN Gourmet is to be discontinued.
Publication of WEIN Gourmet, which is published in Hamburg, is to be discontinued with immediate effect; the 1/2009 issue will also be the last one to appear. The Jahreszeiten-Verlag publishing house stated that the required volume of advertising had not been achieved. Wine as a topic will now be given more prominence in the "Der Feinschmecker" (Gourmet) magazine, sister publication of the wine magazine, in addition the "Bookazine" series is to be given more attention.
