Bernard Magrez steps up activities in Germany

Wine entrepreneur Bernard Magrez plans to improve his presence in Germany with the aid of a number of presentations.
Magrez owns 35 wine estates spread around 9 different countries, including Château Pape Clément (Grand Cru Classé de Graves, first vintage produced in 1305), Château La Tour Carnet (Grand Cru Classé 1855 Haut-Médoc, first vintage in 1409)and Château Fombrauge (Saint-Émilion Grand Cru, first vintage in 1599). Following on presentations of his wines from Japan, as well as from Bordeaux and Roussillon to Uruguay, additional presentations are planned for this year, including participating at the ProWein trade show as the Bernard Magrez group. Most of the wine estates owned by Bernard Magrez are located in France (Bordeaux, Languedoc, Roussillon) as well as in eight other countries: Spain, Portugal, Marocco, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, California, Japan.
