Wine bottle closures

Synthetics for Riesling

Readers letter (so far 0)

The Nomacorc group, manufacturer of alternative bottle closures, has announced the introduction of a special stopper with a particularly low oxygen transfer rate.

Nomacorc has announced the introduction of the Classic Limited closure. The new closure was produced specifically with a view to the requirements of German and Austrian wine producers. It is claimed Nomacorc Classic Limited has an oxygen transfer rate that is 40 per cent lower than that of Nomacorc Classic+, and is designed to keep wines such as Riesling, Rivaner or Grüner Veltliner fresh for longer.
