It appears the Geisenheim campus is currently developing new high-level sommelier training programme in conjunction with the Wiesbaden chamber of commerce. This would ensure the campus is not only known for its academic education programme for winemakers, but is likely also to gain a reputation for educating specialist restaurant staff. The Campus Geisenheim GmbH operating unit has been offering part-time and continuing education programmes since May 2008. (WF)
