Readers letter (so far 0)

Wine service staff in South Africa is to be trained in preparation for the football world championships to be held there in 2010.

Wines of South Africa (WOSA) has announced that precisely 2010 people already working in the field, or those about to enter the service industry, are to be trained on the topic of wine. The objective over the coming two years is that they should be suficiently familiar with wine to be able to make recommendations to visitors coming to South Africa for the football world cup. In addition, it is hoped that this know-how will also stimulate domestic wine sales. (WF)
