Matthias Müller joins ranks of premium producers

The Weingut Matthias Müller estate in Spay has been accepted as a member by the Verband der Prädikatsweingüter (VDP) association, which represents premium wine estates in Germany.
The estate, which is located on the Mittelrhein, and has a total vineyard area of 10,5 hectares, is now member No. 195 in the VDP. The vineyards, which consist mainly of several parcels in the best parts of the Bopparder Hamm site, are planted almost exclusively with Riesling (more than 90 per cent), while small holdings of Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir are also maintained.
