Entry into the Swiss market

German wine trading group Hawesko has announced plans to expand into Switzerland.

As of today, Hawesko has acquired a majority shareholding in Global Wine AG in Zurich. The objective is to further strengthen the wholesale division.

Global Wine AG was founded eleven years ago by Daniel Caro, and is a specialist importer of wines into Switzerland, particularly from the Iberian peninsula - and more specifically into the German-speaking part of Switzerland. (WF)
