Separate DOC for Vin Santo within the DOCG region Chianti Classico in the wine-growing region of Tuscany in Italy. The boundaries of the zone are identical with those of the DOCG Chianti Classico. The wine is made along the same lines as the Vin Santo del Chianti, the minimum alcohol content stipulated is a little higher at 17% vol.
