DOC for dry red wine in the wine-growing region of Piemont in Italy. The small zone has a vineyard area of only eight hectares, and includes the commune of Verduno, from which the name is taken, as well as parts of the communes of La Morra and Roddi d´Alba in the province of Cuneo. The wine is made from Pelaverga, as well as optionally from other permitted red varieties (up to 15%).
