DOC for white and rosé sparkling wine (Spumante) in the Trentino wine-growing region in Italy. The zone includes selected sites in 60 communes in the province of Trento. Bianco and Rosato are made from any combination of the following varieties: Meunier (Pinot Meunier), Pinot Bianco, Pinot Nero and Chardonnay. If matured on the yeast for 36 months, the Bianco may be called a Riserva. Since 2003, the sparkling wines have been known under the collective name of „Talento Trento“ (see also under Talento).
