DOC for dry red wine in the Piemont wine-growing region in Italy. The zone has a total vineyard area of 40 hectares, and includes the commune of Sizzano, from which the name is taken, in the province of Novara. The wine is a blend of Chiavennasca = Nebbiolo (40-60%), Vespolina (15-40%) and Uva Rara = Bonarda Novarese (up to 25%).
