DOC (also known as Sant´Agata dei Goti) for red, rosé and white wines in the wine-growing region of Campania in Italy. The zone includes the commune of Sant´Agata, from which the name is taken, in the province of Benevento. The Bianco is a blend made from Falanghina and Greco (40-60% each), as well as optionally from other permitted white varieties (up to 20%). Rosso (also made as a Novello) and Rosato are blends made from Aglianico and Piedirosso (40-60% each), as well as optionally from other permitted red vatieties (up to 20%). Varietal-labelled wines made from Aglianico, Greco, Falanghina (also made as a Passito) and Piedirosso must contain a minimum of 90% of the stated variety, the remaining 10% may be made up of other permitted varieties of the same colour.
