DOC for dry red, rosé and white wines in the wine-growing region of Apulia in Italy. The zone includes parts of the communes of Apricena, Lesina, Lucera, Poggio Imperiale, San Paolo di Civitate, San Severo and Torremaggiore in the province of Foggia. Rosso and Rosato are made from Montepulciano d´Abruzzo (70-100%) and Sangiovese (up to 30%). The Bianco (also made as a Spumante) is a blend made from Bombino Bianco and Trebbiano Toscano (40-60% each), as well as from Malvasia Bianca Lunga and/or Verdeca (up to 20%).
