DOC for dry red wine in the Piemont wine-growing region in Italy. The small zone has a vineyard area of only 10 hectares, and includes parts of the communes of Camino, Gabiano, Moncestino and Villamiroglio on the south bank of the Po river in the province of Alessandria. The wine is a blend made from Barbera (75-90%), as well as from Freisa and/or Grignolino (up to 25%).
