DOC for dry red and rosé wines in the wine-growing region of Apulia in Italy. The zone includes the entire communes of Orta Nova and Ordona, as well as parts of the communes of Ascoli Satriano, Carapelle, Foggia and Manfredonia in the province of Foggia. Rosso and Rosato are made from Sangiovese (60-100%) as well as optionally with any combination of one or more of the varieties Uva di Troia, Montepulciano, Lambrusco Maestri and Trebbiano Toscano (up to 40%).
