Matino DOC

DOC for dry red and rosÃ© wine in the wine-growing region of Apulia in Italy. The zone includes the entire commune of Matino, from which it takes the name, as well as parts of the communes of Alezio, Casarano, Gallipoli, Melissano, Parabita, Taviano and Tuglie in the Â„Murge SalentinoÂ“ region (Salento peninsula) in the province of Lecce. Rosso and Rosato are made from Negroamaro (70-100%), as well as from Sangiovese and/or Malvasia Nera (up to 30%).
