DOC (also known as Monti Lessini) for mostly dry red, rosé and white wines in the wine-growing region of Veneto in Italy. The zone includes seven communes in the province of Verona and 21 in the province of Vicenza. The white Durello (also made as a Durello Spumante) is made from Durella (minimum of 85%), as well as optionally from Chardonnay, Garganega, Trebbiano di Soave, Pinot Bianco and Pinot Nero (up to 15%). Sweet Durello Passito is made from Durella (50-100%), as well as optionally with one or a combination of Garganega, Pinot Bianco, Chardonnay and Pinot Nero (up to 50%). The Bianco is usually a blend made from Chardonnay (50-100%), as well as from one or more of Pinot Bianco, Pinot Nero, Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Blanc. The Rosso is made from Merlot (50-100%), as well as from any combination of one or more of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenère, Corvina and Pinot Nero (up to 50%). Spumante is made from Chardonnay (50-100%), as well as from Pinot Bianco and/or Pinot Nero (up to 50%). A Rosato (rosé) is made from the same combination of grapes.
