DOC for dry red and white wines in the wine-growing region of Liguria in Italy. The zone includes the area of the same name in the province of La Spezia, including the communes of Bonassola, Deiva Marina, Framura and Levanto. Bianco is a blend made from Vermentino (40-75%), Albarola (20-55%), Bosco (5-40%), as well as from other permitted white varieties (up to 35%). The Rosso (also made as a Novello in secco and abboccato styles) is made from Sangiovese (40-60%), Ciliegiolo (20-40%), as well as from other permitted red varieties (up to 20%).
