Emilia Romagna

DOC for white wine in the Emilia-Romagna wine-growing region in Italy. The zone lies within the DOC Colli Bolognesi, and includes the communes of Bazzano, Casalecchio di Reno, Castello di Serravalle, Crespellano, Monte San Pietro, Monteveglio, Sasso Marconi and Zola Predosa in the province of Bologna, as well as the commune of Savignano sul Panaro in the province of Modena. The wine is made from Pignoletto (85-100%), as well as optionally from Pinot Bianco, Riesling Italico and Trebbiano Romagnolo (up to 15%). The additional descriptions Asciutto or Secco are limited to wines that have a residual sugar of less than 4 g/l.
