Campania

DOC for red, rosé and white wine in the wine-growing region of Campania in Italy. The zone includes an extensive hilly area in the province of Salerno, with a total of 58 communes. The Bianco is a blend made from Fiano (60-65%), Trebbiano Toscano (20-30%), Greco Bianco and/or Malvasia Bianca (10-15%), as well as optionally from other permitted varieties (up to 10%). Rosso and Rosato are blends made from Aglianico (60-75%), Piedirosso and/or Primitivo (15-20%), Barbera (10-20%), as well as optionally from other permitted red varieties (up to 10%). Varietally labelled Aglianico is made from the variety of the same name (85-100%), as well as optionally a little Piedirosso and/or Primitivo (up to 15%).
