The full name of the estate is „Cavallotto Tenuta Vitivinicola Bricco Boschis“ and is located in the commune of Castiglione Falletto (Cuneo province) in the Piemont region in Italy. The estate was founded by Ciacomo Cavallotto, today it is run by Guiseppe and Alfio Cavallotto, the fifth generation of the family to do so. In total, the property has an area of 25 hectares, of which 24 hectares are accounted for by the vineyards in the historical Bricco Boschis and Vignolo sites. Half of the area is planted with Nebbiolo, the remainder with the varieties Barbera, Chardonnay, Dolcetto, Freisa, Grignolino and Pinot Nero. The wines are fermented in stainless steel tanks, and then matured in various sizes of traditional barrels of Slovenian oak. The product range includes wines labelled DOC Barolo, Barbera d’Alba, Dolcetto d’Alba and Langhe.
