DOC for red wine in the Trentino wine-growing region in Italy. This is a long, stretched-out and hilly zone, including 45 communes in the province of Trento. The blended wine is produced in Secco (dry) and Amabile (semi-sweet) versions is made from Schiava Gentile and/or Schiava Grossa (30-100%), Lambrusco a Foglia Frastagliata (up to 60%), as well as any mixture or combination of Lagrein, Merlot and Teroldego (up to 20%). If it has a minimum alcohol content of 11,5% vol it may be called Superiore.
