Top wines in Domain Campi Flegrei DOC

DOC for red, rosé and white wines in the Campania wine-growing region in Italy. The zone includes the communes of Bacoli, Marano, Monte di Procida, Naples, Pozzuoli and Quarto in the province of Naples. The Bianco is a blend made from Falanghina (50-70%), Biancolella and/or Coda di Volpe (10-30%), as well as possibly other permitted white varieties (up to 30%). Rosso (aalso made as a Novello) and Rosato are blends of Piedirosso (50-70%), Aglianico and/or Sciascinoso (10-30%), as well as possibly other permitted red varieties (up to 30%). The varietal wines Piedirosso or Pér ´e Palummo (can be called a Riserva with two years maturation), Piedirosso Passito or Pér ´e Palummo Passito (in Secco and Dolce versions) and Falanghina (also made as a Spumante) must contain at least 90% of the variety stated, the balance can be made up of other permitted grape varieties of the same colour.
