DOC for red and white wines in the Emilia-Romagna wine-growing region in Italy. The zone includes six communes in the province of Ferrara and two in the province of Ravenna. The varietal wines (Fortana, Merlot and Sauvignon) must contain at least 85% of the stated variety, the balance can be made up of permitted varieties of the same colour. The Bianco is a blend of Trebbiano Romagnolo, Sauvignon and Malvasia Bianca di Candia, with a maximum of 5% of other permitted white varieties added.
