Top wines in Domain Biferno DOC
DOC for dry red, rosé and white wines in the wine-producing region of Molise in Italy. The zone includes the entire province of Campobasso with its 44 communes. Rosso and Rosato wines are made from Montepulciano (60-70%), Trebbiano Toscano and Aglianico (each 15-20%), as well as from other red and white varieties (up to 5%). If it has an alcohol content of at least 13% vol and has been matured for three years, the Rosso may be called a Riserva. The white wine is a blend of Trebbiano Toscano (65-70%), Bombino Bianco (25-30%) and Malvasia Bianca (5-10%).
