The estate is located in the commune of Montefalco in the Umbria wine-growing region in Italy. It was founded by Francesco Antonelli in 1881. The estate stretches over two hills at an altitude of 430 metres above sea level, and was formerly known as the „San Marco de Corticellis“ property. It is run by Filippo Antonelli, the oenologist is Manlio Erba. The property has a total area of 170 hectares, with vineyards accounting for a total of 30 hectares, and olive groves another 10 hectares, forests 40 hectares and 75 hectares of farming land. The soils are deep, with clay and a very high limestone content. The range of wines produced includes the DOC wines Montefalco and Colli Martani, as well as the DOCG wine Montefalco Sagrantino. Annual production is around 170.000 bottles of wine. Grappa and olive oil are also produced.
