On average, each visitor calls up slightly more than 5 pages, and spends 5 minutes and 31 seconds on the portal pages. The figures are based on the findings of the independent service Etracker, which carries out a pixel analysis. In contrast to traditional log file analysis systems, Etracker filters out automated visits by search engine spiders as well as other automated access. By comparison: a log file analysis would show considerably more than 11 million page visits or more than 50 millions hits per month.
