Greek appellation including two towns and nine villages in the heart of the island of Peloponnes. It is named after the high plateau of the same name, which lies at an altitude of 600 metres above sea level. 70% of the vineyard area is planted with the with variety Moschophilero, from which the OPAP white wine Mantinia is produced. The remainder of the vineyard area is planted with the indigenous white variety Asproudes. Well-known producers include Boutari, Cambas, Spiropoulos and Tselepos.
