The vineyard area totals 16 hectares, with holdings in the following sites: Freundstück, Musenhang, Pechstein, Stift and Ungeheuer in Forst, Hergottsacker, Kieselberg, Leinhöhle and Maushöhle in Deidesheim, as well as Königswingert in Wachenheim. White varietes: 80% of the area is planted with Riesling, the remainder is planted with Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc and Gewürztraminer, as well as with the red varieties Pinot Noir, Merlot, Dornfelder and Regent. Sustainable, integrated principles are implemented in the vineyards, with no herbicides, use of beneficial insects, controlled fertilising and use of cover crops. The premium wines are marketed as Grand Crus (Grosses Gewächs), those from Niederkirchen and Wachenheim are marketed as estate wines. In addition, Eiswein, bottle-fermented sparkling wines and grappa-style spirits are also produced. The estate is a member of the VDP (Verband deutscher Prädikats- und Qualitäts-Weingüter) association.
