To the south of the Kaiserstuhl lies the sub-region of Tuniberg, a small collection of low hills, producing attractive red and white wines from Burgundy varieties planted on the gently rolling slopes. Look out particularly for wines made by Heinrich Gretzmeier, who regularly attracts attention for his good Pinot and Gewürztraminer wines.
