Regional appellation in the Loire wine-growing region in France, classified in 1974. The rosé wine is mostly made in a dry style, and may by sourced from any part of the appellations of Anjou, Saumur and Touraine. Permitted varieties are Cabernet Franc and/or Cabernet Sauvignon (minimum of 30%), Pineau d´Aunis, Gamay Noir and Grolleau. Well-known producers include Clos de l´Abbaye, Domaine d´Ambinois, Château de Breuil, Domaine Ogereau and Domaine des Trottieres.
