One of the 10 Cru vineyard sites in Beaujolais in France, it was the last to be classified, in 1988. The vineyard area totals 500 hectares, the vineyards lie at an altitude of 350 metres above sea level, and are located in the communes of Durette and Régnié. These are supple wines that develop over two years, and can be matured for three to four years.
