Village appellation named after the commune of Ladoix-Serrigny in the Côte de Beaune region in Burgundy in France. The vineyard area totals 90 hectares. 90% of the wines produced are red wines made from Pinot Noir, with around 10% white wines made from Chardonnay with some Pinot Blanc. Only for red wines, the alternative AC Ladoix-Côte de Beaune may be used. The commune includes a small share of the famous Corton vineyard site. These parcels may use the Grand Cru designations Corton and Corton-Charlemagne (see under Aloxe-Corton). The Premiers Crus cover an area of 24 hectares. They are Basses Mourottes, Bois Roussot, , En Naget, Hautes Mourottes, La Corvée, La Micaude, Le Clou d´Orge, Le Rognet, Les Buis, Les Gréchons and Les Joyeuses. Well-known producers include Capitain-Gagnerot, Edmond Cornu, Domaine Maurice Martray and Price Florent de Mérode.
