This champagne house, which has its headquarters at Vertus, was founded in 1859. It is owned by the Duval family, and is currently headed up by Carol Duval. The vineyard area totals 150 hectares, predominantly in the Côte de Blancs district. The champagnes have an aromatic style. Brands produced include „Femme de Champagne“,„Fleur de Champagne“ and „Blanc de Chardonnay“. Together with the well-known company ALCAN Packaging Capsules, a special closure was developed for champagne bottles, this was presented to the market in mid 2009, bearing the designation MAESTRO.
