The „Domaine Jean-Paul Schmitt“ estate is located in the commune of Scherwiller in Alsace in France. Jean-Paul Schmitt took over the estate from his parents in 1983. The general manager is Bernd Koppenhöfer. The vineyard area totals eight hectares, the slopes face south-south-west, and two thirds of the vineyards have granitic soils.
