Top wines in District Crémant de Die AOC

Appellation in the central section of the Rhône wine-growing region in France. The vineyards are located in the immediate vicinity of the town of Die, from which the appellation takes its name, on the Drôme river, an easterly tributary of the Rhône. It was created in 1993 to replace the AC Clairette de Die Mousseux#Clairette de Die (see there). The bottle-fermented white sparkling wine is produced from the Clairette grape. The AC Coteaux de Die was created for still wines.
