This communal appellation has a vineyard are of around 300 hectares, it is located in the Côte de Nuits section of the Côte d´Or in Burgundy in France and includes the communes of Brochon, Comblanchien, Corgoloin, Fixin, Marsannay and Prémeaux-Prissey. The overwhelming majority of wine produced here is red, and is made from Pinot Noir with permitted additions of Pinot Gris and Pinot Liébault. The small amount of white wine is made from Chardonnay with permitted addition of Pinot Blanc.
